We at The Red Lion are a welcoming pub, restaurant and B&B located in the beautiful town of Hythe. We are ideally situated for all types of visitors from returning locals to day trippers and holiday goers. We are close to the beach and only 30 minutes away from Canterbury so there is plenty to do locally. We are even close to Dover, so we are the perfect place to stay for a few nights before travelling to Europe. No matter if you wish to stay one night, a week or a longer holiday, you can be assured of a comfortable relaxing time here with us.
The Red Lion has become quite renowned in Hythe for its a friendly atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, refreshing ales and delicious, heart-warming meals. We even have on-site parking!
We offer great B&B accommodation. We have 9 good sized rooms, each of which features individual decor, en suite facilities, TV, WiFi and tea & coffee making facilities. Every morning you are welcome to have one of our breakfasts which are served between 8:00am to 9.30am daily. We even have a function room available for office Christmas parties, wedding receptions, private parties, informal meetings, and birthday parties. Prices available upon request.
The bar offers a good selection of beers, lagers and spirits including local ales and an extensive wine list. We also serve a variety of teas and freshly brewed coffee served just the way you like it. We have a very relaxing bar area with plenty of seating and have a wood burner for those cold winters evenings.
We offer some deliciously tempting menus in our restaurant area including lunches and evening meals. We even offer some fantastic mid-week meal promotions. Our Sunday lunches in particular are very popular, in fact we would highly recommend pre-booking your table to avoid any disappointment. All food is freshly prepared and cooked to order, so special dietary needs can easily be catered for upon request. Food is served 7 days a week and ingredients are sourced locally where possible.
