Westgate & Birchington Golf Club
We at Westgate & Birchington are a cliff top golf course with up to 4840 yards of stunning views over the sea and great golfing plays which are suitable for players of all ages. The club itself is based on the cliff tops of the north Kent coast, between the beautiful seaside towns of Westgate-on-Sea and Birchington.
The Club has a strong membership of both males and females at different age ranges that play throughout the week and weekend. You can play individually by testing yourself and perfecting your swing or if you wish to to get paired up with a group of your own ability then you can just ask our Pros and we can fit you in with people you will feel comfortable with. Our rates for membership are very competitive – you wont find better prices in Kent!
If you feel you need some advice and guidence on you golfing ability then we have Golf Coaching available. Our professional and friendly team can give you their expert tips on how to perfect that swing and get the perfect score to impress your peers.
For those over 55 and are looking for a more relaxed, and social golfing experience, then you can always join the Club’s Evergreens who meet regularly each week.
Fixtures include league, inter-club, friendly and mixed matches throughout the year, open to all abilities. We also play regular social and competition golf throughout the year too. Green fees visitors and societies are welcome at competitive rates.
The Clubhouse here is open daily to members and visiting golfers alike. We offer a range of refreshments for those looking for a break from the course. The dining area can seat up to sixty diners, which looks over the course while the lounge and bar areas are the perfect places to relax and wind down after a round of golf. There is also secure changing facilities for both men and women available on site.
The club house facilities are avilable for hire for private functions and events.
